An everyday makeup routine can take a very long time, and I can say this from my own experience. Ever since the age of 12 when I started wearing make-up (even if it was just Miss Sporty Clear Mascara) I've always had a routine that would take place every morning. Now at the age of 14 I can confidently advice you on the best drugstore products on the market for your routine.
As for why you should have a routine, the answer is simple. Having a routine to me is sort of like a canvas, it's your structure and base for the rest of the art you're about to apply on your face. It saves you from going through all the mascaras in your draw to see which one works for you, as you already know your go to. As a student, I can also say it saves a huge amount of time as I rush to get ready in the half an hour I have.
As for brow gels, every beauty enthusiast knows that finding a good one can be a struggle. They are all either too watery or too hard so when you make any expression it feels as if you've had surgery. I've found that the Maybelline Brow Drama (in my shade Dark Blond) is just right. It doesn't end up half way down my face by the end of the day and also doesn't feel dry. The shade range is also great as well.
Lush products will always be great to me, but this particular toner water just works. I don't use it in the way you would think though. Due to my dry skin and the winter weather recently, every time I finish my face make-up I notice dry and not pretty patches on my face no matter how much I moisturise. Using a spritz of this seems to make the dry patches disappear.
So that was an insight into my every day make-up routine. If you enjoyed reading and would like to see even further into my routine make sure to tell me below in the comments and like on BlogLovin.
